Q: I am a single traveller, can I join?
A: Absolutely. We welcome single travellers to this exclusive villa experience. You have two options:
1. Pay the single supplement of $4,700 AUD for your own private room.
2. Express interest in sharing a twin room with another solo traveller of the same sex. We will make every effort to match you with a roommate, but this is subject to availability.
Please note that shared rooms for solo travellers are not guaranteed and depend on the number of other solo guests opting to share. Singles will need to pay the single supplement and when matched with a share room, they will receive the single supplement amount back 2 weeks post tour. All deposits are non-refundable.
Q: What are the start and end times?
A: All guests are required to meet in Catania for the villa transfer, which departs at 3:00PM on 22 August 2025. If you miss the transfer, you will need to arrange alternate transportation at your own expense.
The experience concludes with a departure transfer to Catania city or airport on 29 August 2025, departing at 9:00AM from the villa. Additional transfers can be arranged at your cost, but all guests must vacate the villa by 10:00AM. Please note that it may be difficult to arrange a taxi from the villa, so we recommend discussing any special requirements with our reservations team in advance.
Q: What can I do pre- or post-Ormina Insiders?
A: Sicily offers countless unforgettable experiences. We recommend our Catania package or a custom itinerary around the island. Our Sicily Bella tour is an excellent option to explore more of Sicily’s treasures.
Q: Do I have to participate in all the activities, or can I stay at the villa?
A: You are not required to participate in every activity and are welcome to relax at the villa as you wish. However, please be aware that if a meal is included as part of an excursion and you choose to remain at the villa, any additional food and drinks will be at your own expense. The same applies to any excursions you may decide to take outside of the itinerary. The package price covers only the scheduled inclusions. While we encourage participation in the curated activities, as they offer an immersive experience of Sicilian culture, your time is yours to enjoy as you see fit.
Q: What will the food be like, and can you cater to dietary requirements?
A: Yes, we cater to dietary requirements and preferences, provided you inform Ormina Tours in advance. Our chef will create a menu that accommodates your needs, and you will be informed of the menu during your stay. Meals will feature a variety of traditional Sicilian and Italian dishes, all prepared by the villa's private chef to ensure an authentic culinary experience.
Q: How many guests will be at the villa?
A: The villa has 12 rooms and can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests, ensuring an intimate experience with like-minded travellers.
Q: What are the payment and cancellation policies?
A: A non-refundable deposit of $2,500 AUD per room is required within 48 hours of invoicing to secure your spot. Please refer to Ormina Tours’ Terms & Conditions for detailed information on payments.
The final balance is due by 28 March 2025. Failure to pay by this date may result in the forfeiture of your spot. For more details on cancellations, refer to Ormina Tours’ Terms & Conditions.
Q: Is travel insurance required?
A: Yes, it is mandatory for all Ormina Tours clients to have travel insurance. Proof of insurance must be provided by 28 March 2025, the final payment date.
